Shannon's Random Thoughts: October 2010
http://ssleblanc.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Where does the fear come from? So much for my renewed blogging . I got a bit sidetracked with my mom's passing. But life is starting to return to normal and I'm going to continue to work on blogging consistently. How does a toddler learn that black creepy things and spiders are scary? No one told her she should be afraid. She hasn't been attacked by a 6' spider. Not that exact one). When we got home, I had the kids try on their costumes to make sure that everything fit ok....

Shannon's Random Thoughts: October 2006
http://ssleblanc.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 18, 2006. Tuesday Sept 19 - EPCOT. EPCOT = Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Ok, maybe EPCOT isn't exactly what Walt Disney had invisioned when he came up with the idea, but it is still one of my favorites. As a matter of fact, I have a hard time picking a favorite between Magic Kingdom and Epcot. And I knew that my kids would love EPCOT as well. WE'RE AT DISNEY AND WE'VE GOT THINGS TO SEE! Next, was Mission Space. Philip was too short to ride this, and Zachary decided ...

Shannon's Random Thoughts: Thankful - Day 16, books
http://ssleblanc.blogspot.com/2010/11/thankful-day-16-books.html
Friday, November 19, 2010. Thankful - Day 16, books. Now that first week, I neglected way too much. Dishes? Let 'em sit in the sink, I need to know what is going to happen next. Dinner? Let's order pizza, mom's reading. Oh wait, use paper plates! I don't want to have to wash plates . mom's reading. At least I've gotten past the neglect part. But, I am determined to not let go of reading again. I'm watching far less TV, and I believe that is a good thing. And that makes me truely happy. Thankful - Day 7, ...

Shannon's Random Thoughts: September 2008
http://ssleblanc.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Catching up on my life. Some of you know what's been going on and some don't. I've really neglected my blog for a while - sorry! Like I said, some of you know what's up, and will understand. I had a scheduled tradeshow in Anaheim, California. I discussed it with my doctor and it seemed fine. I worked tradeshows through both pregnancies without a problem. So, I left my hotel at 6:30 Wednesday morning and arrived home around 5:00 pm - and I spent the next 4 days doing almost NO...

Pickled Pink: Word of the Year
http://happyscrapper.blogspot.com/2014/01/word-of-year.html
Wednesday, January 01, 2014. Word of the Year. Forget New Year’s Resolutions. Scrap that long list of goals you won’t remember three weeks from now anyway. Choose just one word. One word that sums up who you want to be or how you want to live. One word that you can focus on every day, all year long. It will take intentionality and commitment, but if you let it, your one word will shape not only your year, but also you. It will become the compass that directs your decisions and guides your steps.

He also built a super computer with a water cooling system for gaming and has since built 2 more for his friend and his brother. He is a whiz at computers and Chad and I have no idea what he is talking about half the time! Michelle continues to...

Pickled Pink: Pan Seared Chicken with Balsamic Cream
http://happyscrapper.blogspot.com/2012/08/pan-seared-chicken-with-balsamic-cream.html
Friday, August 10, 2012. Pan Seared Chicken with Balsamic Cream. Tried another delicious pinterest recipe tonight! I changed up a couple of things. I cooked the onions with the chicken. I also used coconut oil in place of butter because it is a healthier alternative. Have been using coconut oil in all my cooking and wow we love it! You can find the Pan Seared Chicken with Balsamic Cream recipe here. Have a busy weekend ahead with our potential new youth pastor. Great post, I like. Great post, I like.

Thursday, February 03, 2011. A Prayer For My Friend. Have a friend heavy on my heart today. This song says it all, so I will keep it short! Links to this post. Busy Busy- Having a Merry Heart In A Martha World. Spring semester of grad school is off with a bang. I have been burried with chapters and chapters and more chapters. I am also tutoring a struggling reading student for the semester as part of my requirements. More like, it is just what God knew I needed! Then I have myself stretched so thin that ...
