A few days ago we got a call from a local farmer asking if we would like to have a pig that had gotten trampled by some of her bigger pigs. She simply did not have to time to rehab a pig, so asked if one of our kids needed a winter project. Emily readily agreed. Today at school the kids were supposed to have Grandparents Day. Bob's dad was set to come out for it, then it started to snow. School was closed, Bob's dad turned around to head home instead of try to drive through snow, and the kids headed outside. Before the ground was even covered in snow, the kids had the sleds going!
