We Bought A House. We closed May 24th and moved the following day. We had to move our things in quickly because the following weekend, we were off to Mexico for one brother’s wedding. We have our kitchen, bedroom and guest room set up, but we still have a lot of painting, gardening, carpentry, etc to do. Want to come help? This weekend I really wanted to bake with the leftover grass-fed sour cream. In the refrigerator. Unable to find a recipe that I liked, I opted for create my own — based on a few others. Here are the chocolate, chocolate real food muffins. 1 cups whole-wheat flour. Teaspoon fine-grain sea salt. 1 teaspoons baking powder. 2 teaspoons hot chocolate mix (invest is a good one). 2 eggs, lightly beaten. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. Cup coconut oil (warm up slightly if necessary so in liquid form).

Yesterday, for my birthday, we enjoyed a delicious lunch outside with family, at which the above spider really wanted to join. Then we went on a short hike nearby. I captured photos of a few more plants and bugs. It was a fun and peaceful walk exploring the flora and fauna. We also saw red-winged black birds and a few small bright yellow and black birds. Unfortunately for us, the boys are fighting a nasty cold and have been for a few days. Our weekend was full of tissues, warm sink baths, cold medicine and no sleep thanks to Gage waking up every 30 minutes to nurse due to his sore throat. I'm not surprised the boys are sick because it's finally moving week and it's just our luck the boys would be under the weather on this busy week.
