And away we go… Jon and Gretchen Tackle Parenthood. Summer Adventure #4: Hingham, MA. August 1, 2015. Uncle Eric and Aunt Nicky got a new house in a town called Hingham, so we went to check it out! It ended up being a wonderful couple of days with the Ferrara family, as Babci was already there to help with the move, and Grandpa Vinnie and Uncle Chris came up as well. The house is right on the beach with a beautiful view. Best of all, Nick got to play with his cousins, especially Vivi!

After the wedding, we had the opportunity to take a few days to relax on Martha’s Vineyard with Nana, Aunt Wendy and Uncle Barry. Barry and Wendy have a gingerbread cottage in the Campground at Oak Bluffs, and it was the perfect time to get Nick out of the city and to just breathe. Nick got to ride the ferry…. Eat lots of ice cream…. Do some shopping…. Check out Back Door Donuts….

And away we go… Jon and Gretchen Tackle Parenthood. August 18, 2016. August 18, 2016. Our sweet boy is 2! His actual birthday was actually very quiet, as we prepared for lots of celebrating to come. Because of his love of Sesame Street, we used that as a birthday theme, and he did enjoy a Mommy-made Cookie Monster cupcake that day. The next day, we all went to Sesame Place! I knew it would be a good day when we pulled into the parking lot and Nick got excited about the characters on the parking signs!
