When I was a Formula Mom, I used to pour formula into Medela bottles, so that the other moms at playgroup thought that it was pumped breastmilk. I felt their eyes on me. I felt shame, and embarrassment. I was different. I am tired. I am angry. I refuse to carry the weight of everyone else’s judgment anymore. My Summer Vacation
I started this journey thinking I was just me. Now I've discovered I'm a wife, mother, friend, sister, teacher, and coach. Yikes! Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Today, I got the phone call that every parent dreads. The call from the teacher. What had my little angel done? Was this a praise? Where did I go wrong? Did I not spank him enough as a toddler?
