Justin Neitzey: Know When To Fold 'Em
http://justinneitzey.blogspot.com/2014/04/know-when-to-fold-em.html
My life. My experiences. Know When To Fold 'Em. It was a surprise to receive a request to go to McDonald's for food when, in fact, we're pretty sure he's never seen a McDonald's commercial (yes, really), doesn't remember ever being in a place called McDonald's, and had either of the previous statements been true, would not want to go there to eat things. But some kid wouldn't let him play with their Skylanders toy. Ball Pets. Daddy? That was the commercial that was on. Labels: diary of a father.

Justin Neitzey: Our Foray Into Sports
http://justinneitzey.blogspot.com/2013/09/our-foray-into-sports.html
My life. My experiences. Our Foray Into Sports. Up until now most of our activities our son has taken part in have been solo sort of affairs like swimming, dance classes, playing the bath tub; the kind of activities that you really always come out the winner (unless you splash water out of that tub, which is a total fail). Please remember, future coaches of children: the lessons you teach follow them home. Orange cones exist spiritually in every object in the house. But I digress. RSS and Email Updates.

reflection, revelation and relocation- one life in africa: October 2014
http://soumah.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Reflection, revelation and relocation- one life in africa. Teaching and living in abidjan, loving dance, raising two boys on African music and art and lots of rice. Best of all, it boasts a baby store complete with 2 styles of breast pump, one of which appears similar to the Medela and might actually work. Starting next week, the baby will have the privilege of dining on milk direct from an Italian expresser, at Italian expresser prices. The glass of juice included? Things I Can't Do. She is using my 1 00.

The Hoskinson Family: January 2014
http://thehoskinsonfamilytx.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 31, 2014. Like my new "Friday Random Post" title? Admit it. It's a bit catchy. Here are this week's Random Things. Painting Things: It's really not so bad. I have decided the worst part is actually going to buy the stuff and deciding to go through with it. High fives for taking initiative! Favorite part of my days this week: watching Hutch and Hazel shed their school clothes, throw on some "rock star" head bands and jam out to "The Bear Went Over the Mountain.". And it was in Houston?

The Hoskinson Family: The Friday Five
http://thehoskinsonfamilytx.blogspot.com/2014/05/the-friday-five.html
Friday, May 16, 2014. Hutch has recently learned a new word for when he gets mad. You may or may not have heard of it: "Oh, craps." Yes, there is an "s" on the end. And, yes, we have asked him not to say this going forward. He hears everything. And repeats everything. Just test him. Current topic of debate between me and my better half: Furniture. I think Craig's List and Jeremy thinks "new that looks old." This should be very interesting. Have you checked out The Lighthouse and The Whaler? A Catfish Rod...

The Hoskinson Family: Hey, There!
http://thehoskinsonfamilytx.blogspot.com/2014/08/hey-there.html
Saturday, August 2, 2014. I know you probably think that I have just hung up the blogging hat forever, but I am back! I may have thought about just calling it quits a few times, but I just can't seem to let her go. I can't promise that my posts will be as regular as they were, but I will do what I can. Things seem to be a bit busier these days. What have y'all been up to? I thought I would catch y'all up with a few pics that never got posted. Here are Hutch and Hazel on Easter. Word of advice? Then, of c...

The Hoskinson Family: The Friday Five- It's Baaaaack!
http://thehoskinsonfamilytx.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-friday-five-its-baaaaack.html
Friday, August 22, 2014. The Friday Five- It's Baaaaack! I have been itching to do one of these for a while now but just couldn't find my initiative if you know what I'm sayin'. Here goes:. 1 Having a "no curfew" night as an adult is entirely over-rated. Truth. 2 Words of Wisdom from my eldest child:. Hutch: "Mama, do you know what you call baby trees? Me: "No, what do you call baby trees? 3 I had my first tall-boot sighting the other day. It was about 99 degrees outside. And it wasn't me. Here is whats ...

What to Do With a Lot of Basil. July 11, 2015. We have a pretty wonderful problem: what to do with the half row of basil I planted and is now producing prolifically. But I think every seed grew! We’ve also been blessed with plenty of fresh oregano and parsley in the garden. And supply a restaurant? 4-5 small red onions.
