Busy As a Bee. Thursday, April 30, 2009. We have been sooo super busy, I've neglected uploading pics here. I do a lot of that on Facebook.not on there? You should be ;) This is our most recent field trip to a local park, Bay's Mountain. There is a wildlife preserve there with everything from otters to wolves! The best part was the Planeterium show that Toby especially loved! He is learning about astronomy right now with: Exploring Creation through Astronomy. Much more soon! Thursday, April 16, 2009.

Stumbling Toward Enlightenment: Attack of the Killer Boobs
http://stumblingtowardenlightenment.blogspot.com/2011/08/attack-of-killer-boobs.html
Monday, August 22, 2011. Attack of the Killer Boobs. After a preliminary appointment with my doctor, faxed referrals and more scheduling, I'm finally standing in the mammography room. Not so bad- a bit of squishing, arranging, more smashing- whatever, just tell me what this thing is! Fatty deposit. After three years of breastfeeding and a bout of mastitis, it should be no surprise. A few clustered calcifications to check back on in 6 months and I'm good to go. So, so very good. Attack of the Killer Boobs.

Stumbling Toward Enlightenment: September 2010
http://stumblingtowardenlightenment.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 21, 2010. I wrote my Mom an email today. Only now do I realize what my Nina told me in the days after my mom's death is true- that grief never really goes away. At the time she told me that, I thought,. My second thought was,. That can't be true. All the books clearly state that grief has a one-year average shelf life. Four years out now, and I can attest to the fact that my Nina was right all along. It never really goes away, does it? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Stumbling Toward Enlightenment: June 2010
http://stumblingtowardenlightenment.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 29, 2010. My husband says that the houses are run down because they are rentals, but I just can't understand that argument. I mean- sure, it's true and all, but WHY? Just because a person is renting should not mean they have to live like pigs! I rented for ten years and I didn't leave my rental looking like animals had lived there. And when I rented places that included outdoor areas, I kept those looking nice, too. Why? And the 'can't afford it' argument doesn't fly with me, because I can.

Stumbling Toward Enlightenment: December 2012
http://stumblingtowardenlightenment.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 16, 2012. We live in an angry world. I feel compelled to write because that's what I do when I'm anxious. And then I go to the gym and I sweat it out. Angry world. There is anger everywhere- I encounter it on a daily basis. There is the lady who threw a fit the other day in my local post office because the line wasn't moving fast enough- complete with calling someone a "queer ass"- all the while wearing a Christmas sweater. A Christmas sweater, for goodness sake! Proud to be an asshole?
