Loving your baby. Naturally. The other day I started a gratitude journal. It is starting to change my life. What you do is at the end of each day write down five things that you are grateful for that day. I love it because it keeps me positive and motivated. So today in my Journal I wrote down. I am grateful for. 1 Being available for a friend in need. 2 The growing patience to keep up discipline. 3 Having a wonderful weekend to look forward to. 4 Old friendships growing again. As babywearing becomes more popular and people start to see the benefits of wearing your baby instead of having them in the car seat or swing all the time, I think it is important to include dads. Dads play a major part in raising our children (obviously), but it is also very important for them to feel bonded to their baby. Babywearing is an excellent way to do that. Loving your baby. Naturally. My family has supported a family in Ghana through World Vision for probably 10 years. We get updates from the family about once every 3 to 4 months with pictures and drawings from the children. I love reading about this family and feeling a connection to them. Friday, June 28, 2013. The one where we are all pooped. Yesterday afternoon we finished a 2 day trek in the hills outside Chiang Mai. Today we are very sore and sorry for ourselves! It's midday and all we've done thus far today is eat and sleep. Well, I've eaten but not slept. But I'm getting used to that now, I don't think I've slept properly in almost a month!
