Tuesday, 15 February 2011. Double Detox - 13 days and 9.5lbs weight loss! My recent post baby weight gain, plus Christmas scoffing and a food filled, booze filled trip to Miami, left me literally ‘fatter’ than I’ve ever been (except for when pregnant! Before you all say ‘ well what do you expect you’ve just had a baby. 8217; I’d like to point out that 10lbs of weight was gained AFTER she was born! The extra weight gain meant many of my jeans and trousers would not fit! Did this to lose weight for the mov...

Thursday, 24 November 2011. I'm constantly trying to snap pictures of my girls. I use my. I-Phone, small camera, big camera, whatever I have to hand. At the time I took this shot of my baby I didn't really notice anything unusual, other than it wasn't a great shot! It wasn't until I took another look later in the week that I saw what a cheeky little munchkin she was being. So what I thought was an average pic it is now a priceless pic. Labels: Mamami By Chet. Mamami by Chet: November 2012

Wednesday, 28 November 2012. I love Christmas - I blame my Mother. Despite being a Hindu, born in India she has always been very enthusiastic about this ‘Non-Indian’ tradition. We celebrate it more than Diwali. So imagine the excitement in the mamami. So I wanted to share some of the traditions we have started and hope to keep for as long as the Children believe in the magic of Santa. It is a bit long winded I warn you now;. Of the things we would love from Santa (aka mummy and daddy). Needless to say th...

Mamami by Chet: A Family Holiday........escaping to the sun
http://blog.mamami.co.uk/2013/05/a-family-holidayescaping-to-sun.html
Wednesday, 8 May 2013. A Family Holiday.escaping to the sun. The winter/spring cold grey weather left the mamami family feeling rather down. We were all in desperate need of some serious sunshine. The Diva’s were constantly snotty, I was a little (ahem) grumpy and fed up (I totally blame it on my low Vit D) and Mr P was surrounded by three not so happy girls – which in turn made him not so happy. So having discussed our holiday checklist. We were staying at the. 8211; a 5*. 8216;family friendly’. Lived u...

Tuesday, 29 January 2013. Rock A Bye Baby. When I was contacted by the peeps over at Bednest. It bought back memories of when my two Divas were babies (now 5 and 2). One of the hardest things to deal with as a new parent and if I’m honest one with young children is the sleep deprivation. If you have no clue as to what I’m talking about, count yourself extremely lucky. Mr P and I kept waiting for this magical moment to happen but both times the girls got their days and nights mixed up. We finally managed ...

Tuesday, 23 October 2012. WOW WHAT A WEEK. I'll start by saying I’m shocked by all the attention that The Living Gorgeously. Blog has received over the last week. It has been great awareness for the mamami. Brand but has also been a little unnerving. So, in November 2011 I posted ’ 14 Steps to go through before deciding to become a parent. 8217; Yes it caused some of my friends to giggle and comment, I think I had a total of 3 comments….not bad I thought. So I didn't.I just kept quite. Resonate with pare...

Wednesday, 9 November 2011. 14 steps to follow before you decide to have children! Most people will tell you that 'it'. Is the hardest, most rewarding. Roller coaster job you will ever have. No pay, 24/7 on duty and at times it seems like with very little rewards. Being a parent has it's ups and downs, I wouldn't change my title as 'mummy' for anything in the world, however when this came through my in-box from a great friend it made me laugh (a lot! Women: To prepare for pregnancy. 2 At 10pm, put the ba...

Wednesday, 27 March 2013. New Job Role - Fairy Godmother. I am ridiculously happy and scared at the same time. I have been asked to be a Godmother. Extremely pleased that I have been chosen by my friends to hold such an important role and clearly very scared that somehow I will mess it up! Being a Hindu means that we don’t have ‘Godparents’. We have a LOT of customs – this is not one of them. So this is incredibly new to me. Having done some research I found out that t. So to my gorgeous Godson I promise;.
