MAMA MONROE * * *. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Election Day in Alaska. Today is a big day for my family. My awesome SIL, Michael is running for a second term for Borough Assembly. Here's one of his ads. I love that he is so well spoken, but then he wouldn't have been so successful in the radio industry if he wasn't, and certainly wouldn't have his own radio talk shows! And that lovely voice at the end of the ad? Yep My lovely daughter, Terri, who also has a great radio voice and used to do a lot of ads :).

Sunday, September 7, 2014. I am a horrible blogger. Life has set in. I've no longer decided to pursue weight loss. I am learning to live more and more as a "normal" person rather than the "weight loss surgery patient" that I had learned to be. I figured in the event that anyone was following me and not friends with me on Facebook it was time for an update. As some of you may (or may not) know one of my biggest driving forces to lose weight was to get pregnant, to start the family I dreamed of for so long.
