Mama Needs Maintenance: This Blog has Moved!
http://mamaneedsmaintenance.blogspot.com/2010/10/this-blog-has-moved.html
You're a fine-tuned machine. Take care of yourself. How else can we be expected to hold it together while remembering to bring the nut-free-egg-free-dairy-free snack for preschool, return the overdue library books, arrive on-time to soccer, make that almost-homemade dinner, color our roots every 6 weeks, and use that gym membership that we've been paying for? Oh, and do this all on less than 6 hours of sleep a night and often with a chorus of whining and screaming in the background, why don't you?

The Myhre Chronicles: December 2014
http://myhrechronicles.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
A peek into the life of the Myhre Family. Thursday, December 18, 2014. It's been almost a month since Lyla turned seven, and I'm still having a hard time believing it! Seven seems so much older than six (I realize that makes no sense) and a seven year old sounds like such a big kid! Reading is one of Lyla's favorite things to do, and I often find her sitting somewhere reading. She loves Junie B. Jones, and has read all of the books multiple times. I'm trying to get her to branch out, and she ...Making ar...

The Myhre Chronicles: June 2015
http://myhrechronicles.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
A peek into the life of the Myhre Family. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. For a few weeks, Lyla would come home from school with random money and toys that she would add to her collection for the food bank. I kind of thought things would die out, but Lyla was making membership cards for all of her friends, and recruiting friends that don't go to her school at play dates. Lyla was serious about this club, and I was happy to support her. I'm so proud of Lyla and her friends, and amazed at their thoughtfulness....

The Myhre Chronicles: May 2014
http://myhrechronicles.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
A peek into the life of the Myhre Family. Tuesday, May 20, 2014. I decided a trip to the park was in order, and we went in search of a park in the Highlands that I'd heard was really fun, but that we'd never been to. Just our luck, on the way out of the house, the ice cream man drove by, and the kids got to get an ice cream treat! The ice cream truck was just about the only highlight of that day. I feel like we've really been welcomed into the club of parenting a "kid," and not a baby or a toddler. I...
