Monday, September 24, 2012. Illustrator: - - - -. Book One Review (Divergent). While the plot twists did in fact cushion the lack of action I was still very disappointed by it and felt as if I was reading the Hunger Games all over again. I mean you can't start a series strongly and then go downhill from there. Anyways this was one of the big downfalls for Insurgent and it really annoyed me. Posted by Nic Bast. Monday, November 26, 2012. Novel Thoughts #2: Fictional Worlds. Welcome to week two of Novel Thoughts! We've got an awesome discussion topic this week, coming from Sarah. At Sarah's YA Blog. So with a bit of deliberation, I decided that if I had a choice to join any literary world, it would be the world brought to us in Cornelia Funke's Inkheart. If you don't kn...

bookloverscouch: CHILDREN'S BOOKS
http://bookloverscouch.blogspot.com/2012/06/childrens-books.html
A review of books. Monday, 25 June 2012. Don't you just love children's books? They're so cute. Takes me back to the days when I was young and I pestered my dad to make me some bookshelves which he did and then paint them, which he did - bright pink with purple stripes! So when I was able to read 'The Magic Window' by author John M. H. Pratt it took me back to those days of when I delighted in those types of books. 365 books a year. 26 June 2012 at 09:00. 365 books a year. 26 June 2012 at 09:01. Oops, th...

Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Target marketing to Pregnant Women. That's a double entendre. Here's an excerpt from an NPR article about habits. Routines are made up of a three-part "habit loop": a cue, a behavior and a reward. Understanding and interrupting that loop is key to breaking a habit, says journalist Charles Duhigg, author of "The Power of Habit.". Tries to target pregnant women. Says Duhigg, in order to capture their buying habits for the next few years. This can get tricky: One father was upset a...

Increase delete escape defeat. May 5th, 2012 at 5:32 PM. I do not believe that simply not supporting Planned Parenthood as an organization means that I hate women or am against supporting good health for women. That would be like saying if you dont support the American Cancer Society, you dont care about people suffering with cancer. The two just dont go together. Its still a really ugly icon that I dont feel the art people put any thought or time into, though. Where does your insurance money go?

A Mom’s Book Blog. January 6, 2009 at 1:57 pm ( Uncategorized. Hope everyone had a good holiday season! Friday, November 8, 2013. 7 quick takes volume 1. I've never done a 7 quick takes post before but here goes nothing. 1 little girl T has been sick and I'm in constant fear that we will have to return to the hospital again, especially since every time I speak to a doctor they say "oh RSV, she'll probably get sick again." Not the right thing to say to the mother who counts her daughters breaths every time she gets a cold. I'm not exactly sure what he was suppose to be doing at the time but I like it! 6 Hea...
