Blogging my daily grind in portland or. EeekI am excited that the cherubs are. With Grannie for the day and I am in a QUIET house sewing. Hehe. I can hardly believe I even took a break to post this except that Hle. Has so many great new posts that I felt lazy! I think the creative energy I was intending to dump here has been redirected.Henry and I have been letterboxing a little more. We went to a carving event at collage. Tell me to pat the pillow! She sighs, plops down on my lap and starts the story!

Ben is out with Friends of Trees, planting in the Concordia neighborhood this weekend. Henry and Ava are playing together beautifully at the dollhouse: a rare and blessed sight. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Ok, I confess. I've been avoiding this blog like the plague. It isn't that I don't want. To post stuff, it's just that I have this overwhelming desire to catch the blog up with the last eight months of our life and THAT I don't have time for. And, of course, the longer I put it off.the more there is that I'm missing! So, I'm giving myself a break and just starting with where we are right now. Maybe later I'll fill in the missing time, but probably not. :). So where are we today?

Monday, June 20, 2011. I am a terrible mother! Sydney is 2 months old and I haven't even posted about her birth. Yep, that's what life is like with 2 under 2. :). I was SO ready to have this little girl! At 40 weeks and 6 days we went to our Dr. appt for a non-stress test (which seems to be a regular part of pregnancy for me and my overdue babies! And Dr. Klingner said I was 1 cm dilated. Ug! So frustrating. Not that it means anything, but I just wanted some progress. I got the epidural within an hour an...

Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Speaking of Jack, he seems to change daily! He likes to suck on his fingers and thumb and had to learn the hard way not to stick them too far into his mouth. Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Christmas comes but once a year. We had a great time with family and friends in Oregon, but I'll admit I was completely wiped out by the time we got home.
