MamaCita: The Season We're In
http://mamacitadodson.blogspot.com/2009/03/season-were-in.html
Tuesday, March 3, 2009. The Season We're In. I've tried to write at least 3 different post in the last couple of months, but none of them got published. Life is a little crazy right now. My son was born on Christmas Day, at home, in a tub. It was INTENSE - that's the best word to describe it. Being a full time mom of two is definately something that requires way more patience and energy that I ever thought possible. Today as I dropped my older son off with my in-laws for their weekly play date my mother-...

MamaCita: It's September
http://mamacitadodson.blogspot.com/2009/09/its-september.html
Thursday, September 17, 2009. Well, my oldest son started pre. I tried to prepare for whatever was going to happen. He's just barely 3 and he's a bit of an introvert. So I wanted to be prepared in case he wasn't ready for pre. To pick him up now or just wait until noon. We waited until noon since it was fine with the teachers. Sure enough, he was still asleep when we got there. Now" and he said, "OK. Bye, bye.". WOW What a change from the day before. I love that I can drop my son off with these people an...

Mallory In The Middle. Newer posts →. It Only Looks Like I’m Choking Them. April 13, 2007. April 13, 2007. I am so very, very blessed in my life. Some times you just have to take a minute to be grateful. I am thankful:. For my parents’ ice-maker. Yummy refreshing iced tea with as much ice as I want, any old time! Even if it is less violent than. For Prince Charming (finally) mailing the child support that we are living on. I know not everyone even gets the ridiculously paltry and unrealistic (wait! For m...

Mallory In The Middle. Second-hand–It’s not just for cheap skates anymore →. Thursday Thirteen–Thirteen Things I Want To Do Before I Take The “Dirt Nap”. April 25, 2007. Everything that was ever created, was created twice: once in the realm of thought, and then in the realm of being. The thought is the negative, and the creation is the photo. The thought is the blueprint, the creation the building. As children of the Creator, we have inherited a creative nature. We cannot. I’ll go first:. I try, but I ch...

And, because she was a mother, leaving behind a girl and a boy around my kids’ age, it has really gotten me to thinking about my own kids, and would they be ok, if I were suddenly out of the picture? 1 It is impossible to please everyone. 2 Forgive yourself, and forgive others. Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Four Weeks To Go. That's right. As of today, I am four weeks from my due date. This baby boy is comming soon. I'm not in a huge hurry. Four weeks sounds just fine with me. ( BUT I reserve the right to change my mind as the day gets closer). My belly is big and I'm pretty emotional right now. Maybe if we lived in the southern parts of the country this would not seem so strange. Maybe if I was a child it wouldn't seem strange. Wednesday, November 5, 2008. And "Hi, Mom! With my...
