http://lukeheidiandnoah.blogspot.com/p/meet-family.html
The Adventures of Ellie bug and Noah bear. Eleanor (Ellie) is the newest member of our little family. She arrived in November 2010. She is such a happy baby and is such a joy to have around. She has a ready smile and has recently discovered the joys of chewing on her fist and other various toys. I am Heidi, a 30 something mother of these 2 adorable little people. I love gardening, various crafts, reading and spending time with my sweet little family. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Carrying on in Sunnyside.

Orlando Flowers Part 2. March 6, 2012 at 7:51 pm ( Gardening. To start with, flowers were not the only way to make an impact. Foliage was very important in the mass plantings. First is the variegated shell ginger with knockout roses. The next photo shows variegated shell ginger with macho ferns in front. Of course there were stands of the red ti plant (Cordyline teminalis) all through the area. I have a few of these plants, and this year, I will make sure to group them all together for a bigger impact.

We've been going all winter, for free-range chicken, eggs, the occasional brussel sprouts and a good excuse for a walk and breakfast out. It wasn't the full market but getting closer to it. There were a few new vendors, too. Thieneman's Nursery. So before I get ahead of myself, here's today's haul. Beautiful Rosemary plant- planted! On to the rest o...

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. It's been a while, and these are just so stinking cute. And I have loads to share but I realize how much time blogging takes so I stepped away for a bit. But these little ones are just too cute not to share immediately though really, I don't think many folks come by which is why I re-evaluated my time here. But, I do realize that if nothing else it is like a diary to my descendants. So much for the thinking out loud. On with the cuties! I saw this link on Sue's blog. They just need...

artcricket2: March 2012

Thursday, March 29, 2012. Tim Day 6 and 7. The 2nd technique was applying the pens to a stamp and stamping. One nice thing is that once you color up your stamp with the pens, just give a huff of breath on them and that will give you enough moisture for a stamping. I stamped three images -each lighter, obviously-with the one application of marker. All I had time for- the last technique calls for Distress EP because of that "fall away" it has for the result so couldn't' do that one. I'm two days behind :(.

Thursday, February 14, 2013. Quietfire Design Queen of Hearts Challenge. This is my card for Jim this year. It is simple but I've been into chevrons, flags and washi tape so I went with this approach. I hope he likes it and it is my entry in the Quietfire Design Challeng. Oh, and just for fun- these were Valentines I made for my young relatives and the kids at church. There were balls bouncing everywhere after Children's church and worship. Yikes! Thanks for stopping by! Tuesday, February 12, 2013. I als...
