http://dmmcgowan.blogspot.com/2016/11/the-great-liquor-war-rhyme.html
Writing, reading, entertainment, history, family, driving. Sunday, November 20, 2016. The Great Liquor War - a rhyme. Here is a rhyme I wrote which covers some of the story within the covers of my novel, "The Great Liquor War." I wrote it while delivering fuel in a dozen different places and since it was very rough, gave it to my wife who smoothed it out quite nicely. The Great Liquor War Notes. By DM McGowan and K.L. McGowan. Hank had a gold claim in Rossland. And water up to the knees. While Assistant ...

One Wing Original Watercolors: Faded
http://onewingoriginalwatercolors.blogspot.com/2010/03/faded.html
One Wing Original Watercolors. Friday, March 19, 2010. Here is a group of pansy. Paintings I did, using last years pansies that had been pulled from the planter. Laying them out on the snow, I fell in love with the beautiful colors and shapes they formed. Click pictures for yummy close-ups! Love these, Tracy. Fantastic shapes and lines. The 2nd one is my favourite, I think. March 23, 2010 at 11:06 AM. May 22, 2010 at 9:41 PM. These are unbelievably beautiful! July 19, 2010 at 4:00 PM. Colin Kadey - music.

One Wing Original Watercolors: (b)rambles
http://onewingoriginalwatercolors.blogspot.com/2011/05/brambles.html
One Wing Original Watercolors. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. This painting has taken some time to finish, but I think it was worth it. I'm quite in love with it. Unfortunately, it is not eligible for the competition I had intended to enter it in. I was informed that "it is a painting. Competition, not a watercolor competition." Huh? Silly me, all this time I thought watercolor paints were . . . paints! Is 22x30 inches, painted. On Arches watercolor paper. A strange story about the show! May 7, 2011 at 3:20 PM.

One Wing Original Watercolors: Watercolors by me
http://onewingoriginalwatercolors.blogspot.com/2008/08/watercolors-by-me.html
One Wing Original Watercolors. Sunday, August 24, 2008. Another watercolor tree for your viewing pleasure. And two paintings of a lovely dried flower arrangement that my Mom has. The delicate stems and petals attracted me to this set up. I just left the vase, which is a mason jar, as a few pencil lines. Hope everyone is having a fantastic summer! You captured the simplicity of those flowers so well! August 29, 2008 at 6:59 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Colin Kadey - music.

http://onewingoriginalwatercolors.blogspot.com/2008/06/keepin-brushes-wet.html
One Wing Original Watercolors. Sunday, June 1, 2008. Keepin' the brushes wet. Just a few little 5x7s to keep the brushes wet. Not my usual subjects, but they were fun to paint. Thanks to everyone for all the 'congrats' and 'good luck' messages. My new job is going beautifully. And I am feeling inspired once again. Summer has arrived - as evidenced by my sunburned face! Ah well, they won the game, so all is not lost. Another beautiful day today.maybe I'll get outside and paint. June 2, 2008 at 1:30 AM.

Pretentious Musings of a Meet Green Martyr: April 2014
http://blog.meetgreen.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 24, 2014. No, Not the C Word! Yes, that's right, " Collaboration. For years, Oracle Open World (pictured above) has thrown open it's doors for planners (including competitors) to go behind the scene and see Oracle's successes and failures during this huge event. They collaborate with the entire hospitality community and repeatedly offer other conferences the opportunity to share their resources in the San Francisco area. Let's not let the fear of increased competition keep us from collabo...
