The Pandya's: May 2014
http://reemamit.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 3, 2014. What did I smile about in April! The days are getting longer and its beautiful out when its not raining. The girls have a new found obsession with bubbles so we are enjoying time outside with them and are making the most of these beautiful days before it gets too hot. We made a trip to Austin and I finally got to meet little baby Anika. Isn't she so precious! Amit joined his friends to the MotoGP trials on Saturday and I made my social rounds while he was gone. It was a quick d...

Sunday, December 28, 2014. Happy 2nd Birthday to my Sweet and Sassy ones! It still seems like yesterday when Amit wheeled me to the NICU to see them for the first time. They are two today and it feels like a dream to me - I am a mother of twin toddlers! They are still petite little girls and are still wearing 12-18 month clothes (even some 6-12 month ones). My favorite is when they have some detailed conversations - they actually make sense and talk in full sentences. We are definitely experienci...They ...

Sunday, March 23, 2014. Work life Balance or is it Integration? So thats what i have decided to do to reduce the stress of that never ending list - even i. Another lesson from IWD (not that I didn't already know this but helps when you are reminded of it). A lot of us live in the past judging the past or in the future worrying about it - we forget to live in the present. Especially when it comes to our babies we should enjoy our babies - they wont be babies forever. Hope you all enjoy parenting! Next ste...

Sunday, July 5, 2015. What did I smile about in June! Finally feels like summer after a month of rain. The girls love the outdoors and we have spent a lot of time with water activities and parks. Hope you all are enjoying some sun. Another busy month with my parents. I love watching the kids spend time with my parents. We took the girls to a duck pond, they enjoyed watching them but were a little scared of them too. Finished the night off at one of our favorite restaurants. Play date with Saachi. The gir...

Hedgehogs Without Borders: Our Adventure Round-the-World
http://www.hedgehogswithoutborders.com/blog/adventure
An Epic Year of Travel. Two things really stand out about our travel adventures in 2011 - the first is that we had so many, and the second is that we didn't really write about them at all. In total, last year we visited 14 countries. Yup, you read that correctly: 14 countries. Riding the Metro in Mexico City. I agree that DFO's metro system is an amazing, and that you will shave off many hours and pesos while getting an…. Avoid Paying the Exit Tax in Colombia. In Praise of South Africa's Minibus Taxis.

Sunday, June 7, 2015. What did I smile about in May! I keep falling behind with these updates but hopefully will catch up soon. I thought I would have plenty of time with my parents visiting but it was busier than expected, in a good way of course. Nani Nanu are here. So excited to have my parents visit for 2 whole months. I am sure time will fly by quickly but we hope to make the most of it. Congratulations Barbs and Dave! The girls really needed a hair cut and after the last experience I wasn't looking...

Around the World in 180 Days. Family time →. October 7, 2010 · 11:20 pm. Winding our way to the Cantabrian coast. We were expected in Santander, so we had to bid the gorgeous Picos goodbye. The trip from Potes to Santander isn’t far, but we took our time and made a few stops along the way. First up: the monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana, a few kilometers outside of Potes. Our next stop was another church, the tiny Nuestra Señora de Lebeña nestled in the mountains. It has some Mozarab. We stopped by t...

Around the World in 180 Days. Where are you planning to go? The plan so far is: Hawaii, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, India, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Spain, and Portugal. How much is this going to cost you? A fair amount, but likely not as much as you think — we travel cheaply. We’re using some of our savings and the wedding gifts our friends and family generously gave us from our honeymoon registry. What was your favorite place? 4 responses to “. March 29, 2...

Into the mountains | Around the World in 180 Days
https://nathanandcarolina.wordpress.com/2010/09/09/into-the-mountains
Around the World in 180 Days. A day in Oviedo. The Picos are gorgeous →. September 9, 2010 · 12:46 pm. After bidding everyone farewell, we headed off into the mountains. Destination: Potes, a small town in the Picos de Europa, the tallest peaks in the Cantabrian range in northern Spain. We took the scenic route there, which meant lots of harrowing two-lane roads that hugged the sides of rocky mountains. Mdash; a really stinky local blue that Carolina loves — is demonstrated. As one of the larger towns in...
