May our adventures only rarely end up involving fire and or walking down a mountain in church shoes. Sunday, February 9, 2014. Bedroom Makeover Part 1-Painting. To update the bedroom, we are moving the big girls into the old extra room. This is the before picture. It used to be the office, kinda guest room, kinda junk room which the kids would destroy into mess on a regular basis. So we cleared it out. Then we trimmed the points with an exacto. A trick is to then go over the tape with the background colo...

May our adventures only rarely end up involving fire and or walking down a mountain in church shoes. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. I found this idea on the same blog as my Painted Wallpaper, here. Here is the pile of W's. I laid it out on the floor to get it how I wanted it, and it sorta went up that way. I pretty much eyeballed it, and drove in nails for each one, hung them and went on to the next. Here are some of the individual letters:. Isabel's creation: Bubble painting and a chipboard W. May our adventures only rarely end up involving fire and or walking down a mountain in church shoes. Wednesday, December 11, 2013. 5th Grade States Fair. Abby has been working on her project for months. She chose California, because that is where she was born. She did a lot of research and a lot of work to put this together, then all the kids showed off their displays and taught the other children at school about it. Good job, Abby. Whitney can make snow angels. The snow fort Abby built with a little hel...

We rented a boat the second day, only 6 were allowed and there were no life jackets for Calvin, so we stayed at camp while the others went out. Coloring on a quiet afternoon, we LOVE the pullout table area. huge perk of our trailer.

May our adventures only rarely end up involving fire and or walking down a mountain in church shoes. Thursday, October 31, 2013. I will mostly let the pictures speak for themselves. Grandma CC sent a halloween gingerbread kit. How nice was it that this year I just opened it all and let them do it on their own. Carving, we had to do it in shifts between Scott's work and piano lessons, but we got everyone finished and happy with their designs. Our little seed separator. Ready for trick or treating.
