Dotty's Blog: August 2014
http://dottybluebird.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 18 August 2014. Pretty pink caravan serving tea. Made me feel like this! Thursday, 14 August 2014. We had tea from a lovely pink caravan and sheltered under the trees in a torrential shower.(I do have more photos which I will show you if I can get the phone and the computer to communicate with each other a bit better! My technical know-how seems to be letting me down again. Either that or we have Gremlins! The next day we headed out to Go Ape. And maybe next time I'll be braver! Stockport, United...

Labels: Isle of Skye. Sunday, 20 April 2014. Skye in my Heart (and pocket). If you have followed my blog for a while you will be aware that I have a deep love for the Isle of Skye. I have written about it before. And some of my art is inspired by the cottages and open spaces. We visited favourite places. And a few new ones.

Dotty's Blog: July 2015

Friday, 10 July 2015. Artisans At Croxteth Hall. I'm getting excited about attending Artisans At Croxteth Hall. In Liverpool on 19th August. It is on both the Saturday and Sunday 12-6pm, but I will be taking my textile art there on Sunday 19th. As well as my larger framed pieces I have been busy making these postcard-sized artworks. The background is needle-felted with patches of fabric, then applique and machine stitches added. I usually add some little blades of grass and swooping seagulls by hand.

Dotty's Blog: All This Used to Be Fields
http://dottybluebird.blogspot.com/2015/04/all-this-used-to-be-fields.html
Friday, 24 April 2015. All This Used to Be Fields. We climb a stile into a large field, where Alfie can run free if there are no sheep (he's a bit of a sheep rustler at heart). After that we climb another stile and mooch along a leafy pathway next to the golf course before emerging back onto the road back home, where we sometimes pass children on their way to school. Which is why I feel so sad this morning, having seen the early stages of devastation that the new by-pass road is causing. Love Jooles x x x.

Monday, 28 July 2014. What an amazing and busy weekend. The weather here has been really hot and Mr Dotty and I spent a rather sticky day under a gazebo at Middlewich Food Festival. Please excuse the photos- they were taken on my phone and I haven't quite got the hang of it yet). I set up my "Dotty B" stall as part of the Makers Market. We had a fun day chatting to people in the sun. Next to me was a lovely young lady selling interior decor- Kiki Interiors. And behind me was a man from Vanilli's cafe.

Dotty's Blog: May 2014
http://dottybluebird.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 20 May 2014. I have been getting back in touch with my love of graffiti and text and making use of Mr Dotty's prolific photography. I printed images of torn posters and graffiti onto cotton fabric. The colourful image is from the Lennon Wall. In Prague. I love the ephemeral nature of graffiti and the feeling that the messages have been captured in a photograph before someone else comes along and paints over them. I wonder if Jane said "Yes". I have listed this item in my new Folksy Shop. Simple ...

Dotty's Blog: November 2014
http://dottybluebird.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Friday, 21 November 2014. I'm really excited to announce that I'll be taking my "Dotty B" stall to the "Off The High Street" Christmas Market at Castlefield Market. On 5th, 6th and 7th December. My sewing machine has been smoking, my rotary cutter has blunted and I have to keep cleaning fusible web from my iron as I've been busy, busy making lots of goodies to sell. The markets will be held at Uppercampfield. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 28th November to 21st December. Be there or be square!
