Justine Chamberlain: My First Poetry Reading
http://justinechamberlain.blogspot.com/2014/06/first-poetry-reading.html
Poet, blogger, storyteller. Saturday, 7 June 2014. My First Poetry Reading. Last night, I did my first ever public poetry reading at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation. In an event set up by the Manchester Writing School. It was probably the scariest thing I've done in a long time. Even more scary than job interviews. And dinosaurs. Why? Well, it wasn't the standing up on stage and speaking on mic. For me, it was standing up on stage on mic and reading my own. A great supporter of @ManMetUni.
