台灣滿族的由來暨現況 / 作者 翁福祥先生. 完顏宗翰 1078 1136年間 乃金國始祖函普的第九世孫、金景祖完顏烏骨迺的長增孫。 金太宗吳乞買天會元年至天會十二年 1123 1134 、金熙宗完顏合喇天會十三年至天會二十六年 1135 1148 三朝元老 均指在位年代。 海陵王完顏亮弒熙宗自立為君後 恐怕宗室不服，皇位之爭難息，於是大殺宗室之有權位者，真珠和割韓奴兄弟乃取父名之首音為姓，改姓 粘氏 ，脫離完顏帝系宗室之姓氏表示與皇位無爭，得以避禍並逐步南遷。 而溫博察兒本生長於江淮之間，都已漢化，故仍留居於江淮之間，而後因倭寇為患 當在明初 乃由海路南遷至福建泉州府普江縣 今泉州市 之永寧 泉州市東南26公里、今為永寧鎮 海岸楊丹登陸，到永寧安家落戶。 因為清朝是國民黨直接革命的對象，滿族是清朝的統治民族，在革命宣傳文件中把清廷和滿族混為一體，所以有 驅除韃虜，恢復中華 之句，多所匪議或謾罵 尤其對滿清的遺老和八旗子弟多所排斥，這種錯誤導向使人們對滿族的認識與感情上都產生了極大的偏差。 驅除韃虜 是把滿族趕出中原地區，纔有 革命尚未成功 之遺囑。 把鴉片戰爭失敗開放通商口岸，八國聯軍之役開放租界賠款...

The 4th Battalion 9th Infantry Regiment which has a 150 year history of serving this country is once again doing so in combat. The colors of the battalion were uncased at ceremonies on June 1, 2006 in Ft. Lewis, Washington and the battalion deployed to Iraq in April 2007 and after serving a one year tour of duty have returned to Ft Lewis.
