Vote for my sis! Vote for my sis! As some of you may know, my sister is of the creativeist, artistic, designery-type persuasion. She's enerted a design in a competition requiring people to vote online. All it requires is you click a button - no entering of any personal details etc. If anyone who reads this feels moved to help her out, that would be grand. :). Not sure how they do their voting. It came to my attention recently, and the idea looks good pretty good in theory but I wonder how well it works in practice. Looks like I'll have my savings back in another month or so. I'm guessing the government is keen for savers to get their money back in time for Christmas? At work, our office manager's had to take time off to care for her child, who it turns out was confirmed as having swine-flu. 30 confirmed cases at his school, which had to shut down. Pupils off sick as you'd expect, but AFAIK nothing life-threatening. Child is now mostly recovered, and office manager is back at work. 14th-Jul-2009 10:56 am (UTC).
