Wednesday, August 10, 2011. I was frustrated. Hailey, who was sitting at the table with me, got up and left the table. About an hour later she came into my room and said, "Mom, I know you really wanted to be able to participate in your party tonight so I made you these." Then she handed me a stack of 20 cards that she had spent the last hour making! A little while later Kade came over to me and handed me 20 cards that he had made for me to take! Sometimes, my kids amaze me with their thoughtfulness.

Friday, February 17, 2012. Arizona turned 100 on February 14th this year. I was in charge of playgroup this week so I decided we'd have a birthday party for Arizona. We played outside enjoying the C. Limate. For a snack we ate oranges ( C. Itrus) and beef jerky ( C. Attle). I wanted to do a craft that had pennies ( C. Otton, but I didn't get it ready in time. Monday, February 20, 2012. President's Day at the Park. My family (well, everyone that could) met at the park today to enjoy the beautiful weather and have a picnic. The kids loved playing with their cousins and Aunts and Uncles. It was extra special because Michael, Allison, Adam, Grace, and Joshua were in town.
