Sammie and I brought her some flowers, a cake, and a really tasty sparkling raspberry drink. We watched Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mockumentary on beauty pageants, which was hilarious and it was great to just hang out. 8221; which I...

Well, this week did indeed prove to be slow and slightly uneventful in the cafe. But it was a good week nonetheless. She said that she hasn’t said “yes” yet, but long-distance is too hard and she wants to move out there and see what happens. She kept asking us to pray for her because she is so unsure and feeling like this might be crazy! She is just the neatest la...

Amanda’s Ireland Blog. 8220;What State is Ohio in? March 11, 2009 · Filed under Church. Work at the Café. I’m learning how fast the weekends get away from me and because of our homework schedule, I’m sorry that writing new posts has started to get pushed later into the week. But last week was a pretty average week in the shop, and I really don’t have as much to write about this time around. 8221; he asked. 8220;Yeah, I am,” Sammie said, “I’m from Ohio.”. 8220;Woah, there’s a lot of you from Ohio! Amanda’s Ireland Blog. Easter Week With My Family. April 28, 2009 · Filed under Uncategorized. Since the kids here in Galway get two weeks off for Easter Holidays, all the staff at the cafe takes those two weeks off too. So Sammie and I were quite spoiled to get a two-week long spring break this year! And it was an even greater blessing that my family got to come visit me for the first week of break. But the craziest part was, he didn’t tell anyone about it! As “the Cliffs of Insanity.” T...The Cliffs of...

Dauthan’s Visit 🙂 These are mostly pictures of the Aran Islands. The landscape of the island is beautiful. There are tons of stone walls like this. Near the entrance to Dun Aengus. Further up is the top of it. The view from the top of the fort (Dun Aengus). Too bad it was foggy. The view from the edge of the cliff. Scary! A gorgeous thatch-roofed cottage.
