The {Big Easy} Thalgotts: The Kirwans Come to Town!
http://thalgotts.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-kirwans-come-to-town.html
Thursday, October 11, 2012. The Kirwans Come to Town! We had a super special treat for Mardi Gras this year when Todd, Hillary, Cash, and Pierce came to visit us for the week. We could NOT wait for them to come! We love showing our friends and family how much fun Mardi Gras can be. We hit up lots and lots of parades and gave them quite a taste of the Mardi Gras madness! All of these wild boys had such a great time being together! We'd never seen them quite so fond of us! Posted by Becky T. Bah ha ha ha!

The Linus Chronicles: May 2010
http://linuschronicles.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 18, 2010. After our plans to play at the park were thwarted by Mother Nature, we headed to the gymnasium at our church for warmer and drier fun and frivolity. The sidewalk chalk and bubbles would have to be for another day. Anyway, a cardboard rocket ship to pummel seemed like a decent substitute for fresh air and a playground. Linus' friends were more than generous with the gifts and friendly fun. Thanks, guys! Happy Big Five, Buddy! Buddies to keep an eye on:. Belnap, Party of Five.

NoCo News: End of the School year
http://kyleandstefanielambert.blogspot.com/2015/05/end-of-school-year.html
Friday, May 29, 2015. End of the School year. I can't believe the end of the school year is here already. Emma qualified to run in the city track meet. She ran the 50m, 75m, 4x50 relay and competed in the shotput. Our YW did a temple walk. We walked from our church building to the temple site. It was 12 miles. The girls did great and it will be a great memory for them. Emma had an end of the year recital and danced fabulously. She is moving studios next year to take ballet and other classes.

Justen and Brianne: #Blessed
http://justenandbrianne.blogspot.com/2014/12/blessed.html
Thursday, December 11, 2014. In my church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we bear our testimonies a lot. In fact, one church service every month is devoted to members bearing their testimonies of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I feel an intense need to share my testimony right now. My heart is so full! Lana was in her crib, not sleeping but not crying either. I heard her from the monitor start to say "mama" and continue saying it. This is rare! In him should not perish, but have. We met June...

Spanish Phrase of the Day: Motes in the Sunbeam
http://blog.spotd.net/2015/03/motes-in-sunbeam.html
Spanish Phrase of the Day. Better Living Through Spanish. Motes in the Sunbeam. I had a chance to spend time with an old college friend and he inspired me to resume my blog. Today's post is a spiritual sequel to this post from last year:. Http:/ blog.spotd.net/2014/05/hardly-mote-in-sunbeam.html. Despite the seeming differences in these two experiences, I came away with greater appreciation for the greatness of God. The excellence demonstrated by the achievements of our space program are significant ...

Spanish Phrase of the Day: Primary Programs
http://blog.spotd.net/2014/09/primary-programs.html
Spanish Phrase of the Day. Better Living Through Spanish. The children's Sunday School in our church is called "The Primary." Once a year, the primary takes over the group worship service (sacrament meeting) to provide music, scripture, and testimony. Today was that day, and it did not disappoint. Today I was moved by the spirit that I felt during the program, especially while they sang. Or maybe I should say that I was moved by the Spirit. Today's program had a simple theme: "Families are Forever." ...

Spanish Phrase of the Day: Dealing with the Unexpected
http://blog.spotd.net/2014/07/dealing-with-unexpected.html
Spanish Phrase of the Day. Better Living Through Spanish. Dealing with the Unexpected. I'm writing this from the First Class section of a very short flight from LAX to San Diego. I didn't expect to be here. I received one of those complimentary upgrades sometimes bestowed on frequent fliers. I am a bonafide frequent flier, proudly occupying Delta's lowest medallion tier, the exalted SILVER. No, and this is the subject of this post. Lacy and I talked about it as we walked. What would we do? Some confusion...
