Monday, May 30, 2011. I mentioned in the last post that my dad was having surgery in LA, so i came down to be with him here for about a week. james was able to come on thursday night for the weekend, and he proposed on friday night! Friday, August 5, 2011. James got accepted into pharmacy school today! I guess i should backup. he's been on the waiting list since he interviewed back in december. school started on wednesday, so we pretty much thought it was a done deal. he had a bit of a quarter-life crisis [ha! And was re-evaluating his plans for the future. i asked him if he would re-apply, and he said he couldn't really go through it again. i think it was just too much waiting and unknown for him to try to handle again. I have been challenging myself occasionally to find time to scrapbook. usually what this means is that i try to make a page in under 30 minutes [generally while i watch a tv show as a little mental break. haha.].
