Sunday, February 14, 2010. No, despite being out of shape I didn't have a heart attack. It's Valentines day and for Valentines day we participated in a fund raising project for girls camp called heart attack. For a small fee the girls would attack your house with valentine wishes. I didn't know that Linda did the same thing as I did for her and Shayla. To make the day complete my favorite TV show starts again tonight. Woo-Hooo Welcome back Amazing Race. Thursday, November 24, 2011. It Thanksgiving and I have a lot to be Thankful for. I am grateful to my many friends. I don't spend time with you all. Some its only on the Internet but I am glad that I live in a time where I can stay in touch even remotely with friend and people who I have met along the way. I am glad Shayla is home from the Hospital and that the clots are treatable. I am Thankful to live in a time where we can treat things that killed many people without them even knowing what it was.

Sunday, January 31, 2010. I hope there's room enough in my head for all of this new stuff! Well, I've just started piano lessons and tutoring sessions so that I can pass my praxis on June 12th! Yeah, so I can do laundry and prep my lessons for next week - and have a piano lesson on Friday afternoon! Monday, March 28, 2011. My new favorite show! Our first night in Vegas we went to see the Blue Man Group. What fun! These guys don't ever say a word, but they are funny! And they are GREAT percussionists! And at the 'meet and greet' after the show, they still don't say a word, but they just stare at you! It's a little creepy, but LOTS of fun! Monday, March 28, 2011. We went for a gondola ride and had a singing Italian driver who is also an elementary school music teacher by day! She sang "O solo mio" for us and she has a beautiful, clear voice. What fun! This butterfly is made of flowers! It was in the middle of the Palazzo. Cool place. And, of course, we saw Nunsense and had pictures with all the nuns. We even got them to sign the 'holy card' Dad won at the beginning of the show during the 'quiz' section! It was SO cold at the north pole - but that didn't stop June and Kelsi from wanting to hang out on the bow of the ship! Sunday, September 27, 2009. Such craziness, but LOTS of fun! Well, I've been at this teaching thing for about 3 weeks now, and it has gone by F-A-S-T! I am having lots of fun, and that's good, because I'm basically busy 24/7. And that's with Friday's off! Not only do I teach 22 classes in 4 days (3 1/12 if you count that Wednesday is early release.) I am in the middle of planning my 5th grade patriotic program for November 10th (that's 7 weeks away!
