Empty diary | In Place of Incandescence
https://umbrellasong.wordpress.com/2007/04/11/empty-diary
In Place of Incandescence. Laquo; In vindication of procastinators everywhere …. One day, I was already old …. Last night, I was going through my nightstand, looking for a picture, and I found an old diary that I bought, but never used. I looked at it last night, flipping through the empty pages, trying to remember why I had never used it … Had I been extra busy? Was life just particularly boring at the time? If so, what made me decide to buy it? To write in it. Explore posts in the same categories:.

Adventures of a Christian Collegian: For The Record: I Don't Hate Being Gay
http://collegejay.blogspot.com/2006/10/for-record-i-dont-hate-being-gay.html
Adventures of a Christian Collegian. Friday, October 06, 2006. For The Record: I Don't Hate Being Gay. I'm currently pulling a late shift at the desk, but since it's Fall Break weekend no one's here, so I'm extremely bored, hence the blogging! I'm kidding. This is actually a subject that I've been meaning to tackle for a while, but I haven't gotten around to it until now. I recently went to my friend Brady. S blog and found a post of his that concerned this article. Surprsingly, it was published in.

Adventures of a Christian Collegian. Thursday, October 25, 2007. You Might Want To Sit Down For This. So I said I wouldn't blog about my relationship with Hitch until there were any interesting developments. Well, those interesting developments happened. As of Tuesday, Hitch and I are officially boyfriends. Okay, now. Take a breath, drink some water, and come back when you feel you can go on reading. :). Good Let's keep going. :). So I didn't, and here we are. I'm not trying to tear you down at all. ...

Adventures of a Christian Collegian: Here And There
http://collegejay.blogspot.com/2010/04/here-and-there.html
Adventures of a Christian Collegian. Wednesday, April 21, 2010. I've been so busy lately, but I'm still reading and looking at interesting blogs and posts. Most have to do with homosexuality, but others are simply theological or political in nature. Here are some of the posts I've read recently. Reader A.J. shows exactly why James Dobson sucks. Brady shares his thoughts about the Day of Truth. Warren Throckmorton does a round up of Day of Silence and Golden Rule Pledge activities. Ex-gay Watch reports ab...

Areté: In the news: Qur'an burning
http://metasyntactic.blogspot.com/2010/09/in-news-quran-burning.html
Thursday, September 09, 2010. In the news: Qur'an burning. Burn a Koran Day will go ahead. OK, so I don't agree with fundamentalist Christians on a lot. Here's a list of exceptions to that rule. 1) They have every right to burn the Koran without fear of physical reprisal, either from their government or from other citizens. Have that right (and I'd feel the same if they were burning a book I valued). 3) People really are more afraid of upsetting Muslims than Christians. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Areté: Oh the horror.
http://metasyntactic.blogspot.com/2010/09/oh-horror.html
Saturday, September 25, 2010. Taxpayers are funding the purchase of pornography for sperm donors. Screams The Sun, with its usual tone of faux outrage (remember, this is the newspaper that invented Page 3). According to other reports. Men who come in for sperm donation are routinely provided with "porn magazines, a cup of tea and a biscuit". But this misses the most important question. What kind of tea, precisely? Earl Grey is one thing, but in my opinion Assam is a perversion of all things holy.

Adventures of a Christian Collegian: Even I Didn't See This One Coming
http://collegejay.blogspot.com/2007/03/even-i-didnt-see-this-one-coming.html
Adventures of a Christian Collegian. Friday, March 30, 2007. Even I Didn't See This One Coming. One of the coolest things about life is that you never know where it's going to take you. People change, sometimes rapidly, sometimes slowly, sometimes profoundly, sometimes minimally. In any case, change happens. People grow, and often times one will find himself ending up in a place that is the polar opposite of where he thought he'd be. On the whole situation. That was five months ago. Love and grace,.

Adventures of a Christian Collegian: Such Adventures...
http://collegejay.blogspot.com/2010/06/such-adventures.html
Adventures of a Christian Collegian. Monday, June 14, 2010. Man, this is a lot harder to do than I thought. How do I encapsulate four years and all the incredible experiences I had in that timeframe? How do I talk about how much I grew in God, how many wonderful, challenging, interesting, frustrating, infuriating, complicated, or downright fun people I encountered? How do I mention my shift in theology, and my oftentimes erratic relationship with God? No Just a bad theorist. Although there is nothing at ...
