Can you believe these honkers? It was so cool for so long in June and in combination with the fact that we planted a little late, it made me worry that we were not going to have any tomatoes! Everyone I talked to said they were worried because their tomatoes were plentiful, but green and didn't show much sign of ripening!

SoI've been doing Weight Watchers for about 2 months now and I'm down about 15 lbs. At least I plan to be by Thursday when I weigh in! Today is her birthday and I just thought I'd let everyone know what a great mom she is! She has been a huge support to me throughout my life as well as a great roommate, a personal/spiritual advisor, a fun grandma, and most of all a best friend! She is incredibly talented and has always been a wonderful example to me of faith, hard work, endurance, and love. I love you, Mom! A little catch up.

Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Happenings from the Dahls this spring. Family Vacation to San Diego. In February, Jason, Elin and I went to San Diego with my family to see my sister, Holly. We had such a good time with my family and felt so rejuvinated being near the ocean. Elins first time at the beach. La Jolla. She loved playing in the sand. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Jason and I have been playing a lot of tennis this spring and we always take Elin along, who plays with an extra racket and ball in the court. At the end, we let her hit a few balls. And she gets to ride her wiggle car around. Now when we drive by any tennis court, Elin points it out and says, "Play tennis? Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Elin's First Hair cut. Elin got her first hair cut Monday night from our friend, Nichole. I held Elin while she was watching Elmo on our Ipad (love that thing) and Nichole cut her hair. We cut over three inches of mullet! Jason and Marci Dahl. Saturday, January 14, 2012.
