Tuesday, August 31, 2010. He is already 4 months now. He is weighing in at 16.4 lbs. Gabe didn't weigh 16 lbs until he was 6 months old! Here are some cutie pics of "that" face! Fall is coming and Gabe is starting school! Gabe will be starting a 2 day a week Children's Day Out program. He is so excited because both of his cousins went there before him. Friday, August 15, 2008. Well, I finished up the summer session w/ a 4.0 GPA - of course, I only took 2 classes so that is not as impressive as it sounds. Wednesday the 13th was his birthday so he and I hung out all day together. I took him to the mall to ride the carousel, and of course, we had a Cinnabon cinnamon roll! We came home, he napped and I baked his cake. After work, Brittney and Carlos came by and we put our hand prints on a t-shirt I'm making for him. Well, that is my 2 cents on the matter.

Tuesday, July 1, 2008. Well, I have just returned from a long weekend at my Grandmother's farm and it has hit me.for the first time since I was 16, I am unemployed. Yes, I've been between jobs before, but not for more than a few days. This is "permanent", at least for a while. While I am very excited about not having to wake to an alarm clock in the morning, I am starting to feel a bit anxious about my decision. Thursday, August 28, 2008. Okay - what is it with our men these days? Do they all act like children when they don't get their way or you say something that they didn't like? We were on our way to my Grandmother's tonight when I teased John about the jerky ride (we were pulling the tractor). Well, apparently I insulted him b/c right away he turned around and came home. Sunday, July 13, 2008. Can you believe it? It has been 10-years since I married John. Wow10-years.it does not feel like 10 years. Most days it seems as if time flew by. Looking at our life over these past 10 years there have been a lot of great memories and a lot of difficult times. After all, raising teenagers is enough to make a day feel like a week!
