Sunday, August 30, 2009. San Salvador, El Salvador. The idea of this project was to document how El Salvador was covering the Honduran coup chaos. My intention was to walk to the neighborhood newsstand every morning and take a picture of the front page. Because I was unable to do this every day it became more of an A-1 project. When I got in from hunting tonight Ella showed me the picture that she colored. Angie said that it looked like the deer (in the upper left) had curly hair. The world as I see it. Monday, October 5, 2009. Our assignment for lighting last week was fill light, and our subject was portrait of an athlete. I decided to choose athlete(s). Lori and Josh are both ex-cheerleaders who met through the WKU cheerleading program. They fell in love and got married this summer on the beach. :) Lori is a junior at WKU and Josh is an '06 alumni and the coach of the all-girl Western cheerleading team. Monday, April 26, 2010. Copan Ruinas, Honduras. When times are slow the best thing to do is look for light. All images were taken at Hacienda San Lucas. Tortillas and beans over an open fire. A couple having dinner in the same kitchen as the tortillas and beans. Again the same kitchen but this time in daylight. A pillow and bedspread.
