Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Proof that things are not always black or white. I have many thoughts on this particular issue. But I think the main thing to say is that the issues are not always black or white. I know, we can often get lost in a gray area and easily lose our way. But sometimes, things sound wrong or feel wrong for a reason. There are many selfish reasons why John and I want to adopt. We want to be parents, we want to raise children, we want to have a family. It's not ALWAYS black and white.

Friday, April 11, 2008. As you probably know by now, John and I are headed on vacation! I will be piping in on my other blog. While we're gone (along with some hilarious guest bloggers) but since there will be absolutely nothing happening regarding adoption between now and then, I probably won't be updating here until we return. I've realized it really takes at least two people! Today was his 4-month check-up where we planned to get shots. Unfortunately this well-baby check-up did not go so well.
