Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Here is the progression of Jonathon's bath this morning. It was his first bath submerged in water. Up until now he's only had sponge baths on the kitchen counter :-). Jonathon thoroughly enjoying his bath and Triston "helping" wash him. This is how I found Triston after drying off Jonathon and getting him dressed. Eventually all clothes were soaked (yes, I let him stay in and play) so we took them off, but he still wanted to play in Jonathan's tub. Ready to get on the road!

Tuesday, June 26, 2012. I do believe my son may have his mother's love for peanut butter. Tonight I decided to make a peanut butter, banana, chocolate chip cake towards the end of little man finishing his dinner (hence the yogurt all over his face as well). He played in his chair the whole time with the various cooking utensils I'd hand him. Then.then I handed him the spatula with the last little bit of peanut butter and the empty peanut butter jar. Wow, the deliciousness (and fun)!

Devon was able to put a clothes line up for me last night and today I was almost giddy about getting to hang Triston's cloth diapers outside in the sun. It's amazing what the sun does to them! Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Raisch 1st Annual Pumpkin Carving. Very spontaneous move on my part.$1.99 pumpkins at Aldi today. Devon played along wonderfully). Lets get our toboggans on and go wash off the pumpkin (since mom bought a dirty one) and get the plastic tarp paper (since it's too cold to carve outside). Waiting patiently on dad to find the carving tools from a few years ago (that's how long it's been since we've carved a pumpkin). Think dad will let me use that big knife to help?

I will try to get a clip of that tomorrow. Notice how he pauses when he says, "Face a diamond in the sky." He know that isn't the right word, but he can never remember what the right word is. Saturday, August 8, 2009. At 2:45 I was ready to push, at this point I started experiencing the worst pain of my of life, no exaggeration. After pushing for about 30 minutes we realized why. He came out with his hand in his mouth! So not only did I have to accomodate his 14 inch head, I had to fit his fist as well. He was born at 3:27 am, perfectly healthy and really alert. This is where things started to go downhill. How do you take that news? Christie, Logan, and Asher. Praise the Lord on all accounts!

Thursday, March 5, 2009. Had my ultrasound today. And it's a boy! 160;Everything looked perfectly healthy, including the nuchal fold, which always freaks me out. Even though I am still not really showing (just getting fatter), he is measuring a week ahead, just like Asher. So I'm probably going to have another 9-10 pounder. Asher is fascinated with construction of any type, he loves to watch men dig, dump, pave, whatever, if it involves big yellow vehicles, he's in. I found this book on his shelf about three months ago called Big Wheels. It was pretty impressive to see an 18-month-old pointing out a forklift at Home Depot without any prompting.
