All too often it seems the Lord reminds me of Mary and Martha, and He points out that I’m acting way too much like Martha and not enough like Mary. Since being in Central Asia, it seems the opportunities for ministry are limitless. The needs endless. The days seem to slide into the next, months fly by, yet the work is never done. When this happens, burnout is not far behind.

Maybe it is that itch I get every year about this time, for fall. But regardless I’m ready to pull out the fall decorations, put on a pot of cider,and bake an apple pie. I love the fall season. Our Mission to the Himalayas and Beyond. It has been almost two years since we stepped off the plane, juggling 12 suitcases, 3 kids, and all our carry on bags. It has been almost two years of living abroad in a place we now call “home.”. Last night my husband asked me how my perspective has changed since we arrived? What has God shown me?
