Life's Quandaries and Epiphanies: October 2008
http://stephaniejoaustin.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 11, 2008. I didn't gain any weight in the first four months, but at my last visit I had gained 6 pounds! My tummy just popped out over the course of about 2 weeks. Now I definitely look pregnant. Its amazing how just a little change in my size has made me so uncomfortable. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to how uncomfortable I'll be when I'm huge. . Two weeks ago we had our five month ultrasound appointment and found out that we are having a boy! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my com...

I am 28 weeks pregnant (on Tuesday) and my little girl is moving all the time! Her little kicks and punches have turned into full body waves, and I can feel her on both sides of my belly. Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State: May 2011
http://briansinbritain.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. We have been doing A LOT of celebrating lately. We also spent the second week of May in Chicago celebrating Rusty's Ph.D. graduation. It was SUCH a special time, enjoying our last vacation before the baby comes, spending quality time with our families, and watching Rusty graduation after years of hard work on his Ph.D. We had an amazing time. Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State: July 2011
http://briansinbritain.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State. Wednesday, July 6, 2011. A friend shared this with me this week, and it seems appropriate as we prepare for bed, now that our sweet baby's due date has come and almost gone. Dear Baby, here beneath my heart,. I thought that you might come today;. The timing just seemed right. But the stars are out. And the moon is high. And sheepishly I wonder why. I try to arrange the plans of God. For now I know. You will not come. Until the One who holds eternity.

Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State: A Special Weekend
http://briansinbritain.blogspot.com/2011/04/special-weekend.html
Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State. Monday, April 4, 2011. This weekend Rusty and I made a super quick trip home for our first baby shower. It was hard to squeeze everything that we love to do in Clovis into the 36 hours that we spent there (sandwiched between 10 hour drives), but it was SO worth the trip. We got in a bit of quality family time, a LOT of delicious Mexican food, and an amazingly lovely baby shower. Oh friend, everything is LOVELY! You, most of all. =).

Life's Quandaries and Epiphanies: An Ear Full
http://stephaniejoaustin.blogspot.com/2009/08/ear-full.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2009. I have several things to blog about today, so hopefully I can be concise. They all have to do with God taking care of my family, and how much he loves me, and how much I love him. Side note: James and I just had a conversation about how silly it is for people to complain that it is impossible to worship to a song they've never heard. Sometimes I am the most moved when it is brand new and fresh. Listen to it, every single word. August 6, 2009 at 7:53 AM. I think that we might be...

Adventures in Arequipa: February 2011

Saturday, February 12, 2011. Set Foot in the Waters. As soon as the priests.set foot in the Jordan, it's waters.will be cut off. (Joshua 3:13). The Israelites were not to wait in the camp until the Jordan was opened but to "walk by faith" (2 Cor. 5:7 KJV). They were to break camp, pack up their belongings, form a marching line, and actually step into the river before it would be opened. Excerpt from Streams in the Desert.
