Saturday, 4 January 2014. Ham Sui Gok 咸水角. 咸水角, we have this for dim sum. We pronounce it as "ham sui gok", no idea why it's called that but I guess every Chinese knows what it is. These are easy to make but it does take more prep work than baking a muffin. But once you have tried making these, you can't wait to make them again. They are seriously yummy just like ones in dim sum restaurant, except you don't have to fork out. 163;320 for 3 pieces. This recipe makes 20 pieces! Ingredients for the filling:.

Tuesday, 9 December 2014. My first chocolate art, piping Kuromi onto acetate sheet and placing on a cream cake. This cake was requested by my brother for his girlfriends birthday. Ivy loves the character Kuromi and I never heard of it until today. I sketched the character on to paper and place an acetate sheet over the sketch and piped chocolate to draw the face out. First time making this and I'm very excited and the results was good. I can actually draw! I know where I get my artistic side from, my dad.

I have first seen this cake in bakeries years ago but always wondered how they make the Swiss roll with such a beautiful pattern? I've only heard that this skin uses a lot of egg yolks. Wednesday, 27 November 2013. Oh my love for chiffon cakes, I've been making so many I've lost count. I still remember how my first failed miserably! I couldn't figure out what went wrong? It collapsed and the sponge was too heavy. I blamed the recipe and moved on to another yet failing again! I've tried so many different recipes from the Internet to baking books not one gave me the perfect chiffon! I didn't want to give up so I started comparing different recipes on the internet.
