Friday, October 31, 2008. Sam had a pretty low-key 7th birthday this year. Max came over for cake and ice cream but the big present was a parakeet! We have been researching pets for a month and finally decided on a bird. Sam named him Arnie (don't ask me where he got that! He is very sweet and quite tame. He loves to just sit on Sam's shoulder and we've only had him for a week! Did you know parakeets can live up to 14 years! Please do not tell me he's 7! November 3, 2008 at 8:16 AM. Monday, June 25, 2012. Okay so the last school year, we began the year and when our secretary came back with a ginormous diamond ring we found out she was engaged. Then after Christmas break the principal came back with a ginormous diamond too, so we had a double bridal shower. So I came up with this idea to make a basket of cooking stuff. Seems simple enough right.but we packed it with enough double entendre and cooking stuff to fill it it! And we made two. Step 2-Uniform- They were aprons wrapped up.

When Sonny and I were leaving Costco today (how wonderful to shop with one baby that can't ask for anything or eat any samples) he was missing them. He Asked, "Kara, don't you miss the kids? My only response was, "Do I really have to answer that? Hope you all are well and are surviving the spring break. Hiking with the kids on New Years. Yes, it's been that long. I'm not even posting Christmas pics. Our growing baby girl.
