The latest adventures....: July 2014
http://someday-soon13.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Hard to believe a year has passed since this happy, loving, sweet little man came into our lives. We are so very lucky! At a doctors appointment last week he weighed in at 23lb 15oz (87th %) and 30.5" (77th %). He's wearing 12-18 month clothes, size 3 shoes and size 3 diapers. He's now had three ear infections and about one virus per month since starting daycare in Oct '13. Not as bad as K had it so we're counting our lucky stars there. Such a happy, happy boy! This past weekend...

Friday, April 10, 2015. Well, it seems like a monthly post might be the new norm. We do what we can, right? M and I celebrated our 9th anniversary and enjoyed a nice fondue dinner followed by this sunset. The kids had a great time with the grandparents while we were out for a few hours. Win-win! The weather has been up and down, with mostly nice 60 and 70 degree days but also a few snow storms. This was one of the first warm weekend days at our local park. C got the hang of putting eggs in his basket =).

Daddy and Chef can watch the baby, and we can go stalk celebrities and you can take me on the insider tour of LA. And various other sayings. I've always said and had...

Following C's: A winner and a loser: Book Reviews
http://followingcs.blogspot.com/2014/06/a-winner-and-loser-book-reviews.html
A winner and a loser: Book Reviews. First, the winner. On the way to the beach I finished a book my sister-in-law had recommended, Orphan Train. It was a page turner, so well written, and very interesting. I highly recommend it. I'm terrible at paraphrasing so here's a wonderful summary from Amazon. Orphan Train is a gripping story of friendship and second chances from Christina Baker Kline, author of Bird in Hand and The Way Life Should Be. Rich in detail and epic in scope, Orphan Train by Christina Bak...

Thursday, May 21, 2015. First Day, Last Day: Kindergarten. First Day of Kindergarten! Last Day of Kindergarten. Kindergarten has gone by in the blink of an eye! It's so bittersweet. I can barely walk in the school this time of year without getting teary. Evie has learned so much this year! Kindergarten has been a BIG learning curve for us and I did not expect that after teaching first grade for many years. School has changed a lot. Evie learned to do most of what I taught my class of first graders. Mrs C...
