http://catchafallinganisestar.blogspot.com/2011/07/84-high-street-cafe.html
Catch A Falling (Anise) Star. It can never hurt you to cook well" - Lynette E. Gardner. Monday, July 18, 2011. 84 High Street Cafe. The first time Judy and I ever ventured into 84 High Street Cafe. In downtown Westerly several years ago, we wanted to have a "celebratory" dinner. What we were celebrating, and who recommended the place, I have quite forgotten (a friend of Judy's, I think? We left the island, not seeing anything that appealed to us, drove to Narragansett and were given directions to a seafo...

Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Bean and Leaf continues to grow! I am roasting several times a week, bagging lots of beans for clients and farmer's markets and always on call for when Lu says she's starting labor. In East Granby now brews Bean and Leaf. Nature's Grocer. In Vernon is also serving our fresh organic coffee. It's Only Natural. In Middletown continues to tear through pounds of beans. Citrus Juice Bar, Alchemy Juice Bar. And and the elegant restaurant Mangetout. When they are go! Links to this post.

my other human senses: May 2010
http://the365thinker.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
My other human senses. Over the last 9 months, inspired by my two college friends, Kiara and Mike, I've become very conscious of organic products. I started cooking organic foods, using organic clothes and cosmetics. And even going to organic restaurants. These products are a little bit pricey (but still affordable) for a student; however, in a humanitarian perspective, I believe they endorse a sustainable impact on both the farmers and the consumers. Out of random, I did a little research on organic mar...

What I Bought: November 2010
http://whatibought.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
A blog about consumption. Mine. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Looking back, moving on. I've been tracking my consumption for a month now. I've enjoyed it and I've learned from it, but I'm putting the blog on hiatus. I'm writing a play, and quite a few days I've said, "I'll work on my play as soon as I finish today's blog post." And then an hour or two goes by.and I'm ready for bed.and my play languishes. But here's what I've learned:. I do have two hours to write every day if I commit to it. I ate the ch...

What I Bought: Kale, Ale, and Weekly Consumption Analysis
http://whatibought.blogspot.com/2010/11/kale-ale-and-weekly-consumption.html
A blog about consumption. Mine. Monday, November 8, 2010. Kale, Ale, and Weekly Consumption Analysis. Kale, kale, kale.ale. That winter ale in the left foreground is mine. :) I thought that would be the limit to my big night out, but at the last minute Jake decided to get a carrot cake, too. Unfortunately for Jake, our server placed the plate in front of me rather than him. Heh heh. We drove to the Avery Point campus for our writers' group, to the bar and home. I walked to work at Mangetout. Light bulb a...
