September 20, 2013. It's about time for another baby update. I am now 25 weeks, which is feeling very close to the end for some reason even though I still have another trimester go. The other day someone commented, "wow, only three more months! And it totally blew my mind. Technically it's another 3.5 months but whose counting. ;). January 18, 2015. Abs giving it a try. Abs in the mirror. Papa makes the best bubbles! In the evening we ordered Chinese food (Ellie and Abby's favorite) and I baked a cake for a cake smash. I had forgotten that we threw away our pastry bag so I resorted to frosting with a plastic baggie. The result was this spiky cake! Abby loved smashing it until she couldn't get the frosting off of her hands. I don't even think she really ate any of it, she just loved smooshing her hands in it. And then on to smearing.

September 8, 2014. Seven and Eight months. While we were there Abby got her first tooth and on our last day there, she started to crawl! Lately she has been nursing a ton and I thought she might be going through a growth spurt. She only gained a pound this month but she has grown one inch. She is now wearing 9 month clothes which I just got out of the basement because I couldn't snap her pajamas anymore. Here are her stats for this month:. Head circumference: 44.5cm. August 20, 2013. We would have been happy with "healthy" but I am secretly (and not so secretly) pleased that I'll be able to reuse Ellie's clothes and girl stuff. She has an unnatural amount of clothing so it's great that we don't have to start over from scratch in that department. The ultrasound went well and based on my last experience I decided to not. December 17, 2013. I can't believe it but it's that time again - full term!
