Maniacal means “insane” and IWM founder, Ebin Smith, grew up with insanity. His mom split when he was fourteen, driven away by a father diagnosed with manic depression who chose to self-medicate rather than take the doctor prescribed drugs. His dad would lock himself in his room for days at a time with a bottle. He eventually landed in the hospital for over four months due to alcohol abuse. Ma ni a cal.
