Tuesday, February 07, 2006. We finally have a new addition in the house! No, I am not pregnant. I am getting a puppy for Valentine's Day! When is she coming? I impatiently asked my husband. "One day, I'll just come home with her and surprise you." He teased me. "But I need to know! I persisted. "Why? He asked. "I need to prepare the house, maybe put some welcome banners, balloons, or something! I said excitedly. My husband sarcastically responded, "You don't need to do that. she's only a PUPPY!

Monday, June 05, 2006. I just came back from a family reunion. It was the first time I have been with my brothers and sister for more than 3 decades. It is great to see family and spent some time with my siblings and relatives, but it is also very exhausting. Only family knows how to push all your trigger buttons. Sunday, September 16, 2007. Met my sister at the airport. I am glad that my sister was able to come with me. She did not know until 1:00am (a few hours before take off) that she was making this trip with me. What a relief! I was happy that she could come. My sister really can't plan things way ahead. She prefers to live her life, one day at a time, and sometimes one minute at a time. Finally we made the flight! After going through the hassles of the long line, I can sleep like a log at the airplane.

A volunteer fireman soliciting cash in between the traffic stop lights, directed us to Comala, after handing him a donation. The countryside was picturisque. Sunday, March 19, 2006. When we returned from our excursion, it was already Christmas Eve. We had a dinner reservation in a local restaurant by the sea, which offered live entertainment and inexpensive yummy lobsters.
