Alzheimer's has taken my mom! Sunday, June 24, 2012. Starting a new tradition. Today was mom's birthday. She would have been 65 today! The boys and I bought balloons to put out on her grave site. Alzheimer's has taken my mom! Monday, March 7, 2011. Went to see mom today! We did get a new hospice nurse that started today. So far it seems like it will be a good fit! Thursday, March 3, 2011. Mom's cont. update. Mom is eating about 25% of her meals. She has not had another seizure and her vital signs remain stable except her oxygen saturation(O2 sats). Alzheimer's has taken my mom! Thursday, February 10, 2011. In the last two weeks mom has done very well! She is starting to take bites of her food and she GAINED WEIGHT! Tuesday, February 14, 2012. David had his V-day party today. They started off with making a masterpiece using conversation hearts and icing. Then they colored a heart puzzle and handed out their Valentines to each other. Lastly they ate their treats. Grandma Pam make heart cookies that were really yummy! Monday, June 25, 2012. I had an ultrasound at 13 weeks, to screen for trisomy 21 and 18. So far everything looks good and healthy. We couldn't tell the gender yet as it is too early to tell. I am counting down the weeks until my next scan in 6 weeks! Saturday, June 23, 2012. Happy 7th Birthday David! I'm glad he was surprised! Monday, May 7, 2012. Baby #4 on the way! I was 4 days late and decided to test, negative result. After 8 days I got a positive result! No diet involved this time so we can count on this baby being boy #4. At least I can still call at them as a group as "Boys". I am very excited, but still wish that I would have tried to sway this pregnancy, but it is what it is. Just praying for a healthy baby!
