July 17, 2016. We went to mass this morning at St. Patrick’s in the town of Minturn. I mention this as the pianist who was also the singer/ cantor had a beautiful voice and was a very gifted pianist. Archive September, 2013. Friday, Sept. 27, 2013. Remember that your image of an American road does not have any semblance to a road in Haiti. Truly by God’s Grace do we arrive safely at the Wahoo Beach resort. The water was Caribbean blue and crystal clear certainly not like any body water we saw this week here in the city. It was a great tour with terrific scenery, steep climbs, and lots of history to soak up. Monday, May 19th. We are resting at our hotel,Il Giglio, in Montalcino after our 30 mile bike ride today. Dinner in Italy is usually at 8pm, so I have some time now to make an entry for this blog. I am typing this as Manny and I sit on a very comfortable sofa in the lobby of our hotel. It feels good to be on a cushy piece of furniture after the ride today. March 8, 2014. We arrived here today without a hiccup! The weather is apprx. 86 degrees and guess what no snow! We spent the afternoon relaxing a bit and then putting together the grocery bags of tootbrush, toothpaste and vitamins which each person seen in the clinic will receive. I was so awed by the wonderful gifts placed in each team members carry on bag to give to the people who live here in the Parish House. How they fit so much in their bags is beyond my comprhension!
