Monday, 30 April 2012. Monday 30th April 2012 - Late Morning. Water, water everywhere, but given the current restriction, not a drop to drink. Yep as predicted and confirmed by Simon's pic this morning, see post below, the valley has flooded and with the site being lower than the river it has borne the brunt of the overflow. Was on site. It rested a while before being mobbed off by a gang of Black Headed Gulls. Escaping from yet another rapidly flooded island. It stuck around for a while if a bit fli...

North Bucks Wildlife: Willen Lake yesterday

http://northbuckswildlife.blogspot.com/2011/03/willen-lake-yesterday.html

North Bucks Wildlife: Walton Balancing Lakes

http://northbuckswildlife.blogspot.com/2011/03/walton-balancing-lakes.html

This blog is about all forms of wildlife I record around North Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes in particular. My main interests for 2012 will be looking for anything I've not seen before. Monday, March 21. With a report yesterday of a Bearded Tit still at Walton I thought I'd take a quick look in my dinner hour. The V8 was awash with Primroses and trees in 'white' blossom all the way down from the city centre. A balmy 14 oc. And light winds made for a pleasant half an hour observing from the platform.
