Thursday, April 24, 2014. I've been remiss about updating this blog. So lazy! This first half-year of being married still finds me busy and having not enough time to knit or sit down and read. I'm currently training to become a barre3 instructor. And I've settled into a nice little routine at work with my new tasks. I am consciously trying not to worry too much about most things. Tuesday, February 18, 2014. My friend Kathy is going to NYC at the end of the month and it’s going to be cold over there. She asked if I could make her a scarf that’s nice and thick to keep her warm. :). Modeled by Marc despite the heat. I used thick, milk cotton yarn and 6.5mm needles for a quick and cushy knit. Monday, November 25, 2013. Proposed a KAL for us last October and she chose this pattern from The Purl Bee: Cap Sleeve Lattice top. The deadline was supposed to be last 31st of October, but I didn't get to finish it on time, due to both expected and unforeseen circumstances. So thankful that my KAL partner is so patient with me and let me finish a LOT later than we decided. And here is my Lattice Top, finally, 23 days late. hahaha. So proud of it! Tuesday, May 21, 2013. The First Craft Camp. I still can't believe the weekend already happened. Craft Camp. Was too much fun! Mansy, Isa, Mikko and I spent the weekend in San Narciso, Zambales with 20 participants making crafts all day, and laughing til our bellies hurt! Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Two years and ten months at this desk job and I feel like I have forgotten how to think out of the box. I know I mentioned in a few blog posts before how much I appreciate stability these days, but honestly, sometimes you gotta rock the boat to remember who you are and what you are capable of. I'm taking another big jump! Next month, I'll be changing jobs and hopefully I will feel like I have found the career/work-life balance that I want. More updates when it happens.
