Manson Creek Historic Society. CABIN RENTALS and CAMPING. Manson Creek Historic Society. Manson Creek Historic Society was founded in late 1992 to try and preserve the old Hudsons Bay Store and site. The site had been empty for several years after the bankruptcy of the last owners. The Manson Creek museum began its' life as a storage cache. Often they were on tin wrapped posts to protect the contents from animals. In 2007 it got a new tin roof to help preserve it. Wolf Ridge General Store.

Serving Manson Creek and the Omenica Goldfields since 1993. General Delivery, Manson Creek, British Columbia, Canada ,V0J2H0. Open 9am-9pm daily Tuesdays to Saturdays. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. These hours are strictly enforced as are any other LDB regulations). All propane dispensing works normally now. Photocoping and faxing are available.

Where is Manson Creek? Another route from Prince George is to turn west off highway 97 just south of Windy Point Roadhouse [south of Mackenzie] onto Finlay RSR, head north to 98km junction then turn west onto Finlay Manson FSR. Follow this west until 58km where you will find our signs. Although this is the shortest route to Manson Creek the first 20km is rarely graded or ploughed in winter.

Hiking, ATV and Snowmobiling Trails. The thousands of Goldseekers who have explored the Manson Creek area before us have left behind them many miles of old roads and trails. Many of these old wagon roads have received little or no maintanence since they were built and used so many years ago. A complaint I repeatedly hear from ATVers is that their holiday was too short to explore all the roads. Be prepared to share your path with some of our areas wilder residents.
