Sunday, June 21, 2015. Octopus Watching in Singapore. If you want to look at marine animals such as octopus, you can either go for diving or you can visit inter-tidal area. I choose the later and get to watch octopus at a really close distance and without getting wet! The octopus will stay in his safe house till the tide return in about an hour time. Links to this post. Thursday, May 21, 2015. Morning Walk at Bukit Batok Nature Park. The last time I visit Bukit Batok Nature Park, I saw a Malayan Colugo! Since it has been a while I last visit to this place, I was hoping I can catch a glimpse of another colugo. But no luck this time. Theres a quarry cliff in this park and a must 'see' if you are coming to Bukit Batok Nature Park. Is difficult to tell if this place is park within jungle or jungle within park. Saturday, August 2, 2014. Simpang Kiri Park Connector. Is been about 3 years since I last visited Sembawang and Simpang Kiri Park Connector. I have my first encounter with a wild cobra. During my last visit. Carry only with a compact camera, I go for a jog this evening. It was high tide, so I wouldn't be able to see any waders if they do already arrived for their migration. Saturday, March 22, 2014. Northern Thailand Trip Day 4. Day 4 - 20 January 2014. We are moving further north to a lake near Chiang Saen for some migratory birds. I'm targeting a duck and was told that this is a very rare duck and if we do see it, it will be the first record for Thailand! I know I'm near my destination when I saw this sign. While waiting, I walk around the area and saw this pair of Chestnut-tailed Starling. Haha wagtail of the roof! It is still rather misty when I saw this Common Coot.
