Na postovnim serveru na Elfech mate postovni schranku. Server vyrizuje vase pozadavky na cteni a odesilani posty (a dalsi ukony) pres Postovniho klienta. Toto howto popisuje pouziti dvou druhu klientu - weboveho rozhrani a standalone postovniho programu. Az si vsechno nastavite, prectete si dokument o Etice (na Elfech po prihlaseni pod odkazem Elvish services manual). Webove rozhrani - Squirell. Jmeno/Nazev uctu a heslo (Account name). Jmeno, Zobrazovany text. Server odchozi posty (SMTP). Pouzit se da i.

Antispam na elfech je realizovan pomoci SpamAssassina. Oboji je nachystane, ale samo to fungovat nebude. Dorucovani mailu probiha tak, ze Postfix. Mail zkontroluje na nejhorsi prohresky proti RFC a pod. Pokud mail projde, tak se posle Amavisu. Ho prozene svyma testama integrity, rozbali prilohy a udela dekompozici MIME a pod. a cele to prozene Clamem. Antivirak). Pokud to neni virus, vrati mail zpatky Postfixu. A ten ho preda procmailu. Ted teprve zacina moznost pouzit antispam. Jde o to, ze procmail.

Disk quotas are set on /home partition. No qoutas on inode or directory counts. When more space is needed by some rational reasons it is very likely that quota will be increased on demand. Application should be send by e-mail to adm@elfove.cz. When the decision of space demand is to be made it is likely that user who contributed or donated something to elvish server would have some priority.
