My random work on different aspects of my country. Historical Sites of Bangladesh, Shait Gumbad (60-domed) Mosque, Bagerhat. The western wall has ten arched-mihrabs. The central mihrab, is entirely made of black stones. Most of the decorative motifs have disappeared, but much is still preserved in a decaying condition. My random work on different aspects of my country. Historical Sites of Bangladesh, Singair Mosque, Bagerhat. Singair mosque is part of the mosque town of Bagerhat, built in the 15. Century by Khan Jahan Ali and his followers. The mosque is located 3 miles west of the Bagerhat town, opposite to the Shaitgumbad mosque. The mosque is square, and has a single dome. Each side measures 39 feet 6 inches. The mosque is of red brick construction with terracotta designs. By Mohammed Anwer on September 23, 2009.
